We woke up one Saturday morning and decided to go to Kneaders for some of their amazing french toast for breakfast.
It was delicious as always. (I've really only had it 2 or 3 times..but it has always been awesome!)
We sold our TV. We were pretty sure that Santa would be bringing us a new one that wasn't quite so big. Our living room is really small, and this TV was getting ready to go out. It was an old school projections style TV that Matt had inherited from one of his roommates while we were dating.
Matt got me flowers for my birthday. He had them delivered to our house the night before my birthday! What a sweetie pie!
On my actual birthday we went to the ward Christmas party in the morning (if my birthday falls on a Friday or Saturday it is almost guaranteed that the ward Christmas party will be on my birthday). That night we had Matt's sister Jenny come babysit Avery while we went and saw a movie and did a little shopping. We went to Station Park to shop and then went to Frozen.
We went home after that to grab Jenny and Avery and we went to Happy Sumo for a sushi birthday dinner (and a little more shopping, I ended the night with 2 new necklaces and new boots!). It was a really nice day!
Later that week we decided to get our neighbor gifts done and delivered before it was too crazy. I know that neighbor gifts are annoying and a lot of people want to get rid of them. The part I like about it though is just letting people know you are thinking of them!
We made some yummy m&m cream cheese cookies (seriously sooo good!) and we dipped some oreos in chocolate and decorated them.
