Halloween Scavenger Hunt

For Halloween this year we wanted to do something fun so that we had an excuse to dress up.....or at least that was my motivation :)  I also wanted to get to know some of our neighbors and ward members better.  We had so much fun last year doing a scavenger hunt (see here) so we decided to do one for our new friends.  We had lots of people come and do a pot luck dinner, which was yummy!  Then we split the people who wanted to stay up into groups and sent them out on their way.  It was a lot of fun to come up with all the clues and go to all the locations to hide the numbers they had to find, but it was a lot of work too!  We had pumpkins that we never carved....oh well, maybe next year!  

We decided to dress up as Quailman and Patti Mayonnaise from the Nickelodeon cartoon Doug.  A lot of people don't actually know who they are, but here they are.

our resemblance is uncanny isn't it?  Also, I decided that short blond curly hair is not a good look for me!

We didn't get to go on the scavenger hunt, since we knew all the answers and all, but we had a ton of fun hearing everyone's stories when they came back!  

Thanks to everyone who came and participated in any way!  We had so much fun!  We dubs not planning it next time though ;)
