We ate the first layer of our wedding cake. My mom had it in her freezer the whole year. She decided it would be our dessert after Sunday dinner, it actually wasn't that bad. Does anyone know where this tradition comes from, or why it is a tradition??? Notice the label on the box? My mom is super nice!

Cute cake! Josh's mom saved ours for us, but we didn't know that and had exactly ZERO interest in eating year-old cake. We made her throw it away. :)
